Health
We placed the utmost importance on childrens' health. Read more about our policies on immunization, illness, and absences.
Immunization
The immunization of each child is the responsibility of the parents.

Every year the National Health Services of Samoa carry out Measles and Rubella immunisation for children who have not been vaccinated. The Montessori School will send out a notice to parents along with a request for parental consent to immunise your child. No child will be vaccinated without parental consent.
Illnesses & Absence
The School requests that children remain at home if they develop skin rashes, sores or obvious signs of flu. This will prevent the spread of contagious diseases and infections. If your child is sick, please contact the Principal on the morning of their absence.
It is hoped, however, that parents will see the wisdom in not allowing their child to stay home unnecessarily. Each day a child is absent, progress will be hindered.
If you are planning to take your child on holiday, please advise the Principal.
